Community Mobilization Award
It was a great honour when Operation Restoration recently received national recognition for winning an award in the National Best Practices Awards Competition. The Ministry of Environment and Housing organized the competition in association with United Nations Development Programme and United Centre for Human Settlements, as part of the activities of Environmental Week. The award gave recognition to the work of the Centre in the area of Community Mobilization, and for achieving results whilst operating with minimal resources.
